Twinkl is offering a month free subscription in the event of school closure. This means anyone can access all their games, worksheets and activities for free during this time. Twinkl have a variety of EYFS resources to support your child’s learning at home. On their website if you search EYFS home learning lots of ideas for you and your child will come up. Please read a variety of books as regularly as possible with your child during school closure. Hearing stories read to them, and them reading to you, will be one of the most beneficial uses of time.

Activity ideas:

  • Read a story
  • Get your child to help with simple jobs around the house
  • Paint or draw a picture
  • Complete a puzzle together
  • Play a turn taking game/board game as a family
  • Play I-spy
  • Sort and count different objects in the house
  • Write a letter to your teacher about what you have been doing
  • Read a magazine
